At Constellation, an industry leader in energy solutions, we are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer to contribute to our team within the Engineering & Architecture department. The ideal candidate will engage in the design and analysis of structures that support our vast energy infrastructure projects. This role focuses on ensuring the safety, durability, and sustainability of our facilities across a variety of energy sectors, from natural gas to renewable energies like solar and wind power. By joining us, you'll play a key role in projects that increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and environmental responsiveness of our energy systems. Analyze, design, and detail infrastructure components for various energy projects, including both renewable and non-renewable sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive structural solutions in line with project requirements. Perform structural simulation and modeling to predict structural performance under different conditions. Inspect project sites, assessing structural risks and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. Prepare and review detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet safety standards and operational needs. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro or SAP2000. Strong understanding of industry-standard design codes and safety protocols including AISC, ACI, ASCE, and IBC. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. Capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Certification from Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB) is preferred.
