GEICO, a leader in the auto insurance industry, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auto Damage Trainee. This role offers the opportunity to start a rewarding career in insurance claims, focused on auto damage appraisal. Trainees will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to equip them with the necessary skills to accurately estimate vehicle damage and manage repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining GEICOs standards of service. Learn to assess vehicle damage and write estimates using industry-standard software. Work closely with auto repair shops and internal teams to manage repair processes and costs. Communicate effectively with policyholders, providing updates and information throughout the claims process. Participate in training sessions and seek continual improvement and education in auto damage appraisal. Adhere to all company policies and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail and precision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a high-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Basic technical proficiency with computers and claims software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Completion of GEICO’s Auto Damage Training Program; I-CAR certifications or ASE certifications advantageous but not necessary.
