OVERVIEW:Our client, a local non-profit to Philadelphia, is
looking for an HR Director/Business Partner to spearhead the full
scope of the HR function at this organization. Fantastic

hours per week Hours - Primarily business hours M-F, occasional
overnight travel or weekend work needed Salary: 45k - 60k

SUMMARY:
The Director of Human Resources reports to the CEO and acts as a
strategic partner to senior leadership
on a variety of issues, including leadership development and talent
management. The Director of HR
must communicate effectively, foster respect, trust, and
collaboration among team members, and act
creatively to respond to a constantly changing HR environment.
The HR Director provides leadership and expertise for the full
scope of Human Resource functions,
including talent management, credentialing and clearances, employee
benefits and compensation,
employee relations, wage and hour (FLSA), ADA and FMLA legal
compliance, workers compensation
and unemployment administration, employee and supervisory training
and development, performance
management and payroll support.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or
PsychologyMinimum of (3) years of comprehensive Human Resources
experience, with a minimum of
(3) years supervisory experience. Deep understanding of current HR
trends in compensation, benefits, and
performance evaluation frameworks and fluency with primary HR
functions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage relationships with benefit
brokers and obtain and provide competitive and cost-effective
employee benefits plans and programs.Provide counsel and leadership
to develop training programs.Develop and manage new hire
orientation and onboarding.Oversee payroll system, reporting,
systems management, and inquiries.Work with leadership to identify
development needs, workforce challenges or talent gaps, and
collaborate to develop solutions that address needs.Support
organizational development, effective talent management, and
employee retention and work with Executive Leadership to review and
enhance wage and salary policies and practices.Assist with
investigating a variety of employee-related issues, incidents and
complaints, and
resolve disputes by recommending appropriate remedial actions.
Where applicable, conduct
effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Conduct employee
exit surveys and interviews, track trends, and make recommendations
to
leadership. Provide coaching and recommendations to management and
leadership teams on
employee relations and performance management issues.Promote
employee engagement through regular, personal contact resulting in
a positive employee
relations atmosphere as well as organize employee engagement events
throughout the year.CORE COMPETENCIES:Comfort with a high-volume
workload and capability to manage difficult conversations and
stressful situations.A strong solutions-focused attitude and the
ability to operate with autonomy and discretion. Experience with a
rapid and complex changing work environment.Strong skills in
conflict resolution.Experience supervising a team of HR and Finance
professionals. Ability to supervise a team of
HR professionals in a collaborative manner.Ability to support
compliance maintain compliance with state and federal laws and
regulations.
