Job Description:
VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a dedicated Mental Health
Clinician to join our growing team, providing unparalleled mental
health services within correctional facilities. Our mission extends

health care. The role requires a blend of therapeutic skills and an
understanding of the unique environment of correctional health
services. This position offers the opportunity to make a

challenging yet rewarding environment. Conduct psychological
assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional disorders
of inmates. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical
experience and knowledge. Provide individual and group therapy
sessions to address various mental health issues. Collaborate with
medical and security staff to ensure comprehensive care and safety.
Document all patient encounters and treatment plans accurately and
comprehensively. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to
discuss treatment plans and patient progress. Provide crisis
intervention and support as needed. Strong clinical skills in
various therapeutic techniques and interventions. Excellent
interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to
handle complex situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
Proficient in using electronic health records and data management
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a
Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Psychologist in
the state of practice. Certification in Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or similar modalities
preferred.
