Title: Assistant to the Development Director FLSA: Non-Exempt Job
Status: Part Time Reporting Functions: Development Director Job
Function: To provide administrative support to the Director of
Development. This may include, but is not limited to, general
clerical duties and project-based work and all fundraising events.
Also maintaining donor database, social media, and website Duties &
Responsibilities: Maintain donor database, including input of
donations, creation and mailing of receipts. Monthly reconciling
with bookkeeper for all monies received. Promote social media and
website engagement. Provide public relations and keep the media
informed of school news including events, student accomplishments,
and special programs. Collaborate with the Director of Development
on Grant writing, event planning, and creation of school
collateral. Maintain contact with the Diocese of Allentown Office
of Stewardship and Development. All other duties as assigned by
Director of Development Additional Condition of Employment Due to
the nature and mission of the Catholic Church, all employees are

Catholic Church. Educational Requirements: Associates degree Other
Requirements Knowledge of fundraising is preferred but not
required. Proficiency in word processing, database management, as
well as other business and office equipment. Ability to interact
with diplomacy and tact amid donors and diverse groups. The ability
to work independently and manage/prioritize multiple projects
simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and
in writing Must exhibit a high degree of integrity, loyalty,
dependability, and have a strong work ethic. Position continually
requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Must possess a
high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and
confidential situations. Must be able to work independently and

this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit,

and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The
employee is continuously interacting with the public, staff and
students. The employee frequently must meet multiple demands from
several people. Working Conditions: Special Learning Center/ School
Environment. Monday- Friday: 8:15 AM- 3:00 PM; 29 hours a week. May
be required to work in excess of normal work hours to attend
meetings, events or due to non-routine or emergency situations that
