Job Description:
Suburban Propane is seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer
Relations Specialist to join our dynamic customer service team. At
Suburban Propane, we pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled
service and reliability to our diverse customer base, ranging from
residential to commercial sectors within the energy industry. This
role focuses on maintaining high-quality customer interactions,
addressing inquiries, and promoting our range of energy services to
meet customer needs effectively. Manage daily customer inquiries
regarding our products and services efficiently and accurately.
Build sustainable relationships through open and interactive
communication with new and existing customers. Identify customer
needs, clarify information, and provide solutions and/or
alternatives. Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, or
social media, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Keep records
of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file
documents. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and
policies with a keen eye for detail. Upsell additional services by
recognizing opportunities to cross-sell products and services and
communicating these opportunities effectively to customers. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational
and multitasking skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and
remain calm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
software. Understanding of the energy sector and its products.
