Job Description:
Description Job Purpose: - To conduct outreach and engagement
activities related to violence intervention and prevention programs
within the community served by Northeast Treatment Center. Key
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement outreach strategies to
connect with individuals and communities affected by violence. -
Provide information and resources related to violence prevention
and intervention services. - Build and maintain relationships with
community partners and stakeholders. - Facilitate workshops,
presentations, and training sessions on violence prevention topics.
- Collect data and track program outcomes. - Participate in
community events and initiatives related to violence prevention. -
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education: -
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or
related field. Required Experience: - Experience working with
individuals impacted by violence. - Experience in community
outreach and engagement. - Experience developing and implementing
prevention programs. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. - Ability to build rapport
with diverse populations. - Knowledge of violence prevention
principles and practices. - Excellent organizational and time
management skills.
