General Summary of Position Medstar Health is looking for a
Diagnostic Technologist to join our team! This is a part-time
position every other weekend Every other weekend Sat and Sunday
evenings from 3p-1:30am. 10 hours per week. We are looking for for
a registered Radiology Technologist with exce llent commun ication
skills. The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our
team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic
procedures through interpretation. Join one of the largest

move! P rimary Duties : Acquires ordered images including
evaluating these images for tec hnical quality. Sends images to
appropriate destinations for interpretation. Maintains orderliness
and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially
unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient
operating order. Performs preventative maintenance regularly.
Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains
procedures . Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares
and maintains room. Performs radiographic examinations. Prepares
written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized
treatment plans, and progress reports. Requests and will order
supplies . Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED . Registered
by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology ( ARRT) in the
State of Maryland. Basic Life Support (BLS). Associate degree
preferred. This position has a hiring range of $29.15 - $46.99
