designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies
to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of
multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking an Exploratory
Technology Intern as part of the Exploratory Technology team based
in Philadelphia, PA . Role Overview The Exploratory Technology
Intern will gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge research within
a leading cell therapy organization. Working alongside experienced
and highly accomplished scientists, the intern will learn how
innovative cell therapy products are designed, engineered, and
developed within the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to
laboratory and project-based learning, the intern will participate
in journal clubs and group discussions, providing further
opportunities to explore scientific literature and engage with
ongoing research initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform
laboratory experiments under the guidance and supervision of the
assigned mentor. Prepare experimental plans, maintain accurate
laboratory records, and contribute to study reports with mentor
oversight. Present research progress and findings during
lunch-and-learn sessions, lab meetings, and the final internship
presentation. The intern will be selected based on technical
competency, motivation, and professional attributes. Key
considerations include proficiency in basic wet?lab skills,
willingness to learn advanced techniques, and ability to follow
guidance while maintaining accurate records. Candidates who
demonstrate curiosity, passion for scientific research, and strong
work ethics—such as diligence, reliability, and honesty—will be
prioritized. The final decision will be made jointly by the mentor
and project team to ensure alignment with project needs and team
culture. Requirements Undergraduate student majoring in biology,
biomedicine, bioengineering or related area. The student should
possess fundamental wet-lab skills, including cell culture, cell
passaging, flow cytometry, and basic molecular biology techniques.
Experience with assays such as ELISA, cytokine profiling using MSD,
or ddPCR is preferred. We seek a student who is intellectually
curious, passionate about scientific research and drug development,
and motivated to pursue a long-term career in this field. The ideal
candidate is diligent, reliable, and honest, with the ability to
take ownership of assigned tasks and consistently meet
