Job Description We are working a leading NYC hospital network to find a new Clinical Laboratory Tech. After reviewing the information if are interested the please feel free to apply. Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers. Conduct and document daily quality control, calibration, and instrument maintenance. Validate test results, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action when necessary. Adhere to safety, infection control, and biohazard handling protocols. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with institutional policies. Collaborate with laboratory leadership, medical technologists, and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate testing. Participate in proficiency testing, competency assessments, and continuing education activities. Skills Required Minimum of one year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Strong understanding of laboratory testing principles, instrumentation, and quality control. Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Education/Training/Certifications Required: Associate degree from an accredited Clinical Laboratory Technology program. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or a related field. Required: Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED.
