Job Description:

City Fitness is looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for fitness and a desire to promote health and wellness throughout the city of Philadelphia and beyond!! As the Strategic Relations Coordinator (SRC), you will serve as the point of contact and strategic consultant for all community and corporate partner accounts. The SRC is responsible for seeking out and educating organizations on the array of benefits that come with participation in the Corporate program. The SRC is must prospect, establish and maintain professional relationships with local groups, organizations, companies and individuals, with the goal of developing business opportunities resulting in increased engagement and revenue within the corporate program and throughout each supporting profit center.

  • Responsible for the ongoing growth and development of the Corporate Membership Program.
  • Shows the value in participation by educating
  • Prospects and establishes relationships with qualified potential partners, both corporate, community and individual based.
  • Stewards relationships with prospects to identify suitable partnership programs based on their expressed needs resulting in increased revenue for City Fitness (trial programs, membership programs, group fitness opportunities, executive memberships, etc.)
  • Implements, executes and maintains all confirmed partnerships including, but not limited to: working with other departments as necessary (marketing, operations, sales); maintaining communication with partner outlining clear deadlines and expectations for both parties; creating, sending invoices on a monthly basis for all partners, as well as monitoring payment; meeting all partnership terms on an ongoing basis
  • Monitors Corporate billing and performs overall contract management.
  • Assists in planning events that highlights corporate services and attending local networking events. Performs public speaking to organizations and committees regarding company corporate and executive programs and marketing.
  • Identifies corporate marketing opportunities, fosters relationships, and builds corporate loyalty.
  • Researches members requirements and industry trends to guide the customization of products, services and program offerings.
  • Researches members requirements and customizes product/ services as per their needs
  • Designs, present and execute specific year-round engagement opportunities as well as multi-year development action plans to ensure the cultivation of relationships that drive revenue growth.
  • Establishes and maintains contacts with internal and external sources including media sources, public relations colleagues, members, and vendors.
  • Researches and prepares budget proposals for corporate relations, marketing activities, special events, etc., as assigned.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes swift corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action
  • Ensures completion of various daily, weekly and monthly tasks and reports, in a timely and accurate manner, as assigned or requested by management.
  • Attends meetings, conferences, classes, etc., as assigned.
  • Serves as a professional representative of the Company, complying with all guidelines and in support of the organizations mission and vision.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Competencies:

      • Must be 18 years or older
      • Must have GED or High School Equivalency
      • 1-3 years of sales or marketing experience
      • Bachelors in Business or other related field
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Supervisory Responsibility:Although this position does not have any direct reports, the SRC may be called to serve in a leadership capacity in any efforts specifically related to the corporate membership program. Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This individual must be computer literate and comfortable working with a multitude of computer software and information systems. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 40 scheduled hours per work week. Unless otherwise specified, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties or special projects demand. Schedule alterations must be approved in advance by the immediate supervisor Travel: This position requires a frequent amount of travel as job duties and special projects demand. The SRC will be regularly required to perform on-site visits to both prospective and preexisting accounts.
