Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:Rafferty Subaru has become one of the highest volume new vehicle franchise and the best importfranchise in the market over the past year and currently has an immediate opening for aSalesperson to join their team. If you are ready to take your career to the next level with a strongbrand and a great company in a high volume store, the Salesperson position at Rafferty Subaru isthe right opportunity for you.A Salesperson is responsible for selling and leasing new and used vehicles at dealership grossprofit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. With control over your own salary you have theability to make upwards of $100,000 annually.The ideal candidate will have general sales and customer service experience. Candidates mustdemonstrate excellent communication, organizational and time management skills along with theability to maintain professional standards.What We Offer:We offer an exceptional total compensation program with competitive wages and benefits. Benefitspackage includes; medical plan; dental plan; medical and dependent care flexible spendingaccounts; life insurance; 401k plan; PTO and paid holidays; and employee discounts.Job Responsibilities:Completes Rafferty Qualification sheet, silent walk around, and demonstration drive with everyprospect.Utilizes one the most current forms of a Rafferty Sales Proposal sheet.Approaches, greets with standard greeting, and offers assistance or direction to any customer whoenters the dealership showroom or sales lot.Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to theirresponses.Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identificationfrom customer prior to test drive.Utilizes CDK prospecting and follow-up system.Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automotive sales.Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity,and devises a strategy to meet those goals.Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers.Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager, along with properlycompleted paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.)Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealerpolicies.Introduces customers to service department and collision center personnel. Emphasizes to themthe quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s servicedepartment and collision center.Follows up on all post delivery items, tag/title work, “we-owes”, and special requests to be sure thatall customers expectations are met.Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributesto customer satisfaction.Maintains a prospect development system.Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how tobetter utilize time and plans more effectively.Maintains professional appearance.Qualifications:Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude.Must have a competitive spirit.Must have a strong work ethic.Sales experience preferred but not necessaryJob Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-time
