KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the A&D General Manager and A&D
Business Development Manager, the A&D Sales Contract
Administrator will be responsible to:
Review customer solicitations and obtain input from the Compliance
and Quality team members to interpret and assess risk as it relates
to Customers' Terms & Conditions, Scope of Work, Quality
requirements, and other provisions contained therein.
Identify actions required to ensure compliance with customer
contractual obligations, including flow-down clauses/provisions,
and notify applicable departments so requirements are reflected in
our Purchase Orders.
Disseminate information, facilitate communication, and coordinate
activities to assist other functional departments in meeting
contract requirements.
Notify the Compliance Department of all new supplier qualification
forms and annual recertifications and follow up to ensure they are
completed and submitted to the Customer.
Participate, as requested, in the development of proposals and
negotiation of new contracts or modifications thereof.
Coordinate with the Compliance Department to obtain all required
End-Use/End-User Statements and import/export license
applications.
Enter customer orders accurately within the ERP system on a timely
basis and in accordance with AS9100D standards.
Submit Sales Order Acknowledgements to Customers.
Enter and track all sales opportunities, purchase orders, and Sales
Order Acknowledgements in Salesforce to maintain accurate status of
sales pipeline.
Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized contract files
documenting all contract actions, correspondence, and problems
experienced (including corrective actions taken).
Monitor On-time Delivery and payment status of assigned
contracts.
Interface with accounting to resolve payment problems on assigned
contracts.
Ensure timely and proper closeout of completed contracts.
Maintain Supplier Performance Scorecards received from customers
and initiate corrective action as needed.
Contribute to internal and external audits of the company's
contracts and subcontracts.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by
management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in contract management, business
administration, or related fields.
Experience and knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and Export Compliance
or willingness to learn.
Experience with DoD and major Aerospace primes preferred or
willingness to learn.
Understanding of AS9100D and how it affects the sales process or
willingness to learn.
Competency with business ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
