Job DescriptionSalary: Who We AreNerd Street Gamers provides an opportunity for gamers to gain experience in competitive esports competitions, and they also are home to a community of like-minded amateur competitors. Our product offering includes facilities, event management, and broadcast production with an underlying software framework that ties it all together. We're helping to build the infrastructure of esports. And we're looking for talented, high-energy team members who can collaborate in a professional-minded, high-paced environment.In ShortThe Group Sales Specialist is responsible for creating, prospecting, and selling group hospitality packages for our flagship facility in Center City Philadelphia. Specific focus will be placed on establishing relationships with Philadelphia area businesses, schools, membership organizations, and clubs that result in annual event programming. Group Sales Specialist will generate group sales through prospected leads and will be tasked with creating our first internal database of potential group clients. This role will oversee specific categories (i.e. Youth Sports, Alumni Groups, etc.) as well as leverage various Gamer Packages to surpass sales goals. Qualified candidates will have at least 1-2 years' experience in sales, marketing or customer service with a track record of exceeding goals. Group Sales Specialist will have the flexibility to curate group offerings within the capabilities of the Localhost staff and facility including F&B packages, parties and behind the scenes tours of our Production offerings.Essential Job Functions

  • Generate revenue through a consultative & solutions-based approach, focusing on creating first class experiences and memories through group hospitality packages for The Block Localhost Philadelphia location.
  • Maximize sales revenue by building and identifying prospects, setting both virtual and face-to-face appointments, conducting facility tours, and closing sales
  • Actively self-prospect and research potential clients through various platforms
  • Achieve at least 80 touch points a day with a minimum of 50 phone calls
  • Cultivates professional relationships with current and potential clients to build strong sales pipeline
  • Responsible for servicing and cross-selling existing group clients
  • Meet & exceed assigned monthly and yearly sales goals
  • Involvement in event activities, promotions for Nerd Street Gamers and Localhost facility and outside functions including luncheons, business shows, conventions, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Assist with other projects, as assigned
  • Additional duties as neededEducation/Experience
    • At least (1-2) years of sales, marketing or customer service experience required
    • Successful track record of exceeding goals in past positions
    • Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in esports
    • Entrepreneurial spirit; self-starter
    • Passion for sales and creativity
    • Highly coachable, team player
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Suite preferred
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
