Employer SCOPE OF JOB Perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on all park ride attractions while following all company policies and procedures. Perform general maintenance activities and repairs throughout park property including: painting, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical work. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: ---Complete all green tagging procedures on all rides while upholding to department safety standards, including test riding and inspections ---Inspect, diagnose and repair all park rides including mechanical rides, water craft, slides and nets. ---Complete all required daily documentation pertaining to each ride ---Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lock out tag out, personal protective equipment, ride safety requirements and fall protection ---Maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals related to each individual ride ---Communicate any ride related questions/concerns to leadership ---Perform general maintenance activities throughout the park property including: painting, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical work or other tasks as needed ---Work closely with other park departments to accomplish any work that is assigned ---Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy ---Assist with park winterization and park set up of park facilities and attractions including but not limited to disassembling/reassembling rides for annual third-party inspection and pool maintenance ---Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: ---Must be a High school, trade or vocational school graduate or equivalent ---Must have three years verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive or military ---Must be able to operate various types of machinery including forklift, man-lift, etc. ---Must be able to wear a full body harness ---Must be physically able to climb stairs daily on multiple 60' towers, lift up to 50 pounds, bend repetitively, and stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to work outside in all types of weather. ---Must have a valid state's license. ---Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines. ---Must be able to understand and follow all ride/safety policies ---Must be able to complete and pass all training for each ride ---Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision as well as in a team environment ---Must be able to operate and maneuver in and around tights spaces ---Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and turn with complete flexibility ---Must be able to walk uphill and work on a 35-40 degree slope ---Must be able to repetitively climb stairs ---Must be able to climb and work off of ladders ---Must be comfortable working in and around water ---Must be comfortable handling chemicals with training (grease, oil, etc.) ---Must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes ---Must be able to train on and properly use protective gear ---Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays ---Must be a self-motivator who is a strong team player and interact well with othersBENEFITS Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) Vacation/Sick/ Holiday
