Electrical Design Engineer - Power Generation

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Job Information: Requires onsite work based out of Vorhees, NJ (or our Philadelphia office, or our Princeton office) and occasional regional travel to visit clients (please do not apply if you seek 100% remote work, must work "in-office" 3 or 4 days per week). "Mid-Level" position - at least 4 years experience desired.
Direct hire, well established engineering firms with offices across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
Direct hire, paying $90,000 - $120,000 annually plus full benefits package (medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, etc.


Electrical Engineer - Power Generation Responsibilities: Preforms engineering calculations, prepares single-line diagrams, sizing of components, short circuit analysis & technical specifications, etc.
Supports Sr. Engineers with designing and laying out electrical systems for various client projects.
Preforms site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings and provides field construction support
Reviews shop drawings and assists with construction administration when applicable


Electrical Engineer - Power Generation Requirements: 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited US college or university is a must. MBA preferred. PE license is preferred.
At least four (4) years of progressive Electrical Design responsibilities and experiences is desired.
Must possess confident communication skills, be able to speak at meetings and articulate updates to clients.
Excellent computer skills must include AutoDesk AutoCad, Revit, Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Must have experience using MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. and other similarly related computer skills
