This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential buildings. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients, while also maintaining the efficiency and functionality of their HVAC systems. Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, HVAC Service Technician or Residential HVAC Technician.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
  • Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or at height.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer solutions.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and compliance.
  • Ability to handle physical workload and work under pressure.The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks and work diligently under pressure.
