US Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service company, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to work on one of our projects in Philadelphia PA. The qualified applicant will be responsible for preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems equipment. The successful candidate possesses the following skills/experience: Minimum 2 years of experience of field electrical experience performing preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial electrical componentsMinimum 2 years of field experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical components.Maintain electrical wiring system and components in accordance with the provisions of the National Electrical Code and Industry StandardsRead blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematicsDiagnose causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repairThorough knowledge of electrical theory and methods, materials, tools, equipment and systems used in the electrical tradeInform personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisionsInspect electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance actionsOperate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely; assemble, install, maintain, and repair electrical apparatuses; make rough sketches; estimate cost, time and materials of electrical workInspect, troubleshoot, isolate and repair electrical malfunctions using various test instrumentsMaintain, test and repair electrical equipment for safety and efficiency; plan the layout and wiring of new or existing installationsFabricate electrical parts; inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable exterior and interior safety codes and regulationsInspect related work performed by contractors; estimate cost, time and materials for electrical projects; participate in the maintenance and operations of an electrical shopClean, maintain and service tools and equipment used in the performance of dutiesExperience utilizing electrical schematics, diagrams, and specificationsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical load centers and distribution systemsExperienced in and/or knowledgeable of traffic monitoring and control systems.Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writingMay be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.
