Job Description:

OverviewVTG is seeking a Site Foreman/Site Lead to manage multiple cabling installation crews and technicians for large cabling infrastructure program located at Philadelphia, PA. What will you do?

• Daily status reports of previous days work completed
• Tracking delays in writing in these daily reports
• Meeting with on site customer daily on needs, questions, or clarifications
• Confirming we stay within our scope of contract and notify PM of any potential change orders or out of scope work requested
• Providing daily Quality Assurance of our work areas to ensure it meets contractual standards but also Industry Standards
• Ability to manage multiple installation crews and providing daily direction and expectations from each installation crew
• Updating on site Drawing package daily with any Red lines that becomes our final CAD deliverable at end of project
• Coordinating delivery to site of needed materials, receiving at loading dock, inventorying, and moving to our staging area
• Working with VTG purchasing and Program Manager to issue Purchase Orders for addl materials
• Working with VTG PM on estimates to complete work and other financial reports we perform during our project executions
• Work with primes FSO or customer Security on having technicians submit their access forms for site access
• Overall responsible for day to day activities of our installation team on site Do you have what it takes?
  • 10+ years plus related experience with managing multiple installation technicians and crews for installation of low voltage cabling systems that include Copper, Fiber, Backbone, Comm room buildouts, cable conveyances, termination/testing/labeling, and redlines.
  • 10+ years of experience pulling in ISP and OSP cabling in conduit, cable trays, outside plant pathways using Maxcell or duct banks through existing manholes or handholes
  • Experience working in Construction environment with other General Contractor trades
  • DoD Secret or TS Security clearance preferred but must pass customer Limited Background Investigation (LBI) check.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must have valid US Passport with no less than 6 months until expiration preferred but not required
  • OEM certifications or seminar certifications
  • BICSI RCDD certification or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Active equipment certifications preferred but not required.
