Position Overview: The Business Analyst is a key member of the SCRUM team responsible for requirements definition, workflow analysis, and government research in support of our industry-leading compliance software. This position is ideal for a technically minded individual with experience as a business analyst for a software development team building new software from scratch. Success is measured by your ability to collaboratively articulate complex projects into concise user stories that drive value to the business. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team, and Business Stakeholders to define and implement solutions that deliver value to the business
• Serve as the liaison between business conversations and system details, engage in healthy debate with stakeholders, and clearly communicate not just the "what" of the solution but the "why"
• Define requirements for complex projects utilizing mockups, workflow/process models, and detailed requirements. Lead grooming and estimation sessions with the Development Team to refine these requirements into user stories
• Support the delivery of solutions you have defined by clarifying requirements, assisting with implementation, and performing acceptance testing
• Facilitate change management and track the usage and adoption of features by internal and external users utilizing interviews, workshops, and analytics
• Effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience performing business analysis for web-based applications or similar related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience communicating effectively with technical staff, business users, business stakeholders, and external clients
  • Experience communicating with software engineers on technical topics
  • Experience communicating and negotiating with business stakeholders
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and refining business processes Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience prototyping new solutions Location and Hours: This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, remote position. If desired, candidates may work a hybrid schedule in our Lancaster, PA, or Rockville, MD, office. Our standard operating hours are 9 AM to 6 PM EST. Note: This position is not open to California, Colorado, Montana, or New York residents.
