Lab TechnicianSHIFT: - 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - -PAY: - - -$20.05 per hour - D.O.E.This position consists of working in our lab, which includes different environments with hot temperatures.Responsibilities: - - - - -Assists chemist in the processing of material including filtering, transfer of solution, X-ray, weigh-outs, fire assay, and gravimetric analysis - - - - -Maintains and cleans laboratory, instruments, and equipment - - - - -Maintains filing system and other administrative work as needed - - - - -Complete special projects as assigned by management - - - - -Accuracy, concentration, honesty - - - - -Ability to perform other duties as requiredEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements: - - - - -1-3 years of analytical laboratory experience with a strong background in math and science (chemistry) - - - - -Interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) - - - - -Ability to work in fast pace demanding production environment - - - - -Necessity to stand continually through an entire shift - - - - -Ability to physically work safely with hazardous materials and to recognize odors related to such materials and take appropriate safeguards - - - - -Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsAll candidates must pass a background and drug screen and must have reliable transportationWe offer 401K, Medical and Dental benefits, PTO, Paid Holidays, and Life Insurance, and we also offer perks and discounts to our enrolled benefit members -We are e-steward and ISO 14001 certified, operating a LEED-certified zero-discharge facilityPowered by JazzHR
