Virginia). Job SummaryResponsible for serving as the technical
expert on the operation, functions and features of the addressable
headend and it's related equipment. Establishes key practices in
the use of the HP UNIX and NT operating systems. Provides support
for the TSE I and ensure the operation in compliance with HITS
business goals and service level agreements. Has developed
specialized knowledge/skills in own area. May act as a resource for
colleagues with less experience. Job Description The Technology,
Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of
media and technology and our innovative teams are continually
developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies
that transform the customer experience. About the Role/Team The
Managed Distribution Operations Team supports hundreds of MVPDs
across the country. We provide satellite and fiber services as well
as conditional access to smaller and mid-size cable systems. We are
24X7, but the overnight hours and weekends are supported by an
on-call rotation. We are a team of 7 and have very low turn over-
our newest team member just celebrated their 10 year anniversary.
We have this position open because someone retired. We are looking
for someone who has some experience with networking,
troubleshooting, critical thinking, and works well with a team.
Core ResponsibilitiesAssists in the design, creation and
implementation of key procedures for the headend operation and
troubleshooting.Assists Manager of Technical Support in
implementing procedural enhancements.Develops methods, practices
and procedures to support the headend launch and change
process.Second level technical support for: Satellite and Fiber
service distribution, Digital addressability, Digital Headend
Equipment, RF Support and Customer Education.Interacts with
software development and QA Lab and engineering teams on production
issues and pre-production testing of hardware and software related
products.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able
to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as

Experience 5-7 Years Salary: National Pay Range: $23.23 USD-$54.45
USD Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within
this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors
such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that
