SummaryWe are looking for a Data Governance and Quality Analyst who
will primarily focus on our Data Quality(DQ) program at CHOP. The
hire will be responsible analyzing data and ensuring that it is in
compliance with our Data Quality framework. -He/she will work with
technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization to
measure the quality of our datasets across multiple data domains
and will help to monitor compliance to CHOP data standards. The
Data Governance Portfolio Leader II also provides support to Data
Stewards, located in the business, who are responsible for data
quality improvement. -The ideal candidate must be self-directed and
comfortable supporting the needs of multiple teams & possess a
strong technical acumen. The right candidate will be excited by the
prospect of identifying and addressing long term & short term DQ
remediations and be able to present the information to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders. - -Job
ResponsibilitiesCoordinates the reconciliation of data integrity
issues between various data sources.Aligns EDG objectives with CHOP
organizational goals.Contributes to the maintenance of enterprise
metadata dictionary by assuring it includes business definitions
and essential attributes of all key terms.Collaborates with
multiple stakeholder groups to identify and help implement
governance standards; supports partnerships throughout the
institution.Assists in the development, implementation, and
monitoring of data governance standards, policies, and
solutions.Monitors controls over applications to ensure data
integrity by performing data integrity gap analysis.Executes the
resolution of data integrity gaps by working with data analysts and
stewards.Leverages fundamental understanding of EDG framework and
concepts to deliver data governance solutions.Builds expertise in
EDG processes and workflows to perform implementation tasks.Job
Responsibilities (Continued)Assists in the development of EDG
strategies, standards, policies, procedures, and measurements of
progress.Supports the monitoring of implemented data governance
solutions for continued adherence to data governance standards and
processes.Supports data analysts and stewards in their efforts to
integrate business processes and dataPeriodically train analysts on
the maintenance of the enterprise data governance explorer as well
as the enterprise data dictionary.Supports data analysts and
stewards in their efforts to integrate business processes and data,
and ensure data integrity between various data sources.Accurately
guides time estimation conversations.Support development of data
governance standards for metrics and data elements.Support efforts
to ensure that the data governance standards are integrated into
new initiatives and applications.Serves as a mentor for EDG
Portfolio Leader I as well as the Data Steward community.Job
Responsibilities (Continued)The department works 80% remotely, 20%
on site in our Philadelphia offices on an as-needed basis. -
-Required Education and ExperienceRequired Education: Bachelor's
Degree -Required Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of Data
Governance or Project Management experience -Preferred Education,
Experience & Cert/LicPreferred Education: Degree in Computer
Science, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative
field.Preferred Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience
in a Data Governance or Project Management role in a healthcare

Licenses/certificates/registrations: One (1) Certification or
