Quality Assurance Engineer - Job DescriptionContract to hire - Hybrid in Philadelphia (only once per month or as needed onsite)
The Quality Assurance Engineer plans, designs, modifies, implements and executes both manual and automated test strategies, test plans and test cases. This role will actively participate in architecture and development of a solid, reusable, maintainable automation framework with actionable reporting utilizing a variety of tools and scripting languages.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, You Will - Design, develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test plans - Document and resolve testing issues; proactively escalate issues when needed - Ensure timely and successful completion of testing deliverables - Develop and refine quality acceptance standards for testing requirements and processes - Collaborate with IT, end users, and selected vendors to ensure compliance with established quality assurance standards and best practices - Create and maintain quality assurance testing environments - Track, report, and present results from manual and automated testing to project team, Firm's senior management and project sponsors
Job Specifications - Approximately 5 years of QA experience - Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities - Knowledge of:o Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools and processes (Jenkins, Git)o Desktop/Web/Mobile test automation frameworks, tools, and processes (TestComplete, Selenium, Appium)o Product delivery life cycle, quality control and quality assurance methodology - Familiarity with quality assurance testing tools is a plus (Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail) - Knowledge of programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C#) and database concepts (MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL) - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Bachelor's degree
