Description: Title: Behavior Technician Reports To: Lead RBT Status: Part Time Department: ACP New Jersey Direct Report: None General Summary: The Behavior Technician plays a key-role on the frontline of delivering care to patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays at ACP. Alongside multiple other clinical staff, the Behavior Technician teaches skills through use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and collects data to drive progress forward. . Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Implement different types of teaching procedures (naturalistic, discrete-trial teaching, stimulus fading, etc.) Teach clients new skills to support their development Minimize undesirable behaviors through ABA therapy Increase desirable behaviors through ABA therapy Collect data during sessions Collect ABC data on new behaviors Record Baseline data on new clients Describe the behavior and environment in observable and measurable terms Describe functions of behavior Conduct preference assessments regularly Report any questions, concerns, or issues with treatment delivery in a timely manner to designated supervisor Maintain professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients, staff, and families Minimum Qualifications Licensure: N/A Supervise Staff?
