Senior Privacy Analyst is a key contributor within the Optum Labs
Privacy Office, who influences enterprise transformation, research,
and growth through a comprehensive data protection program. Working
with cross-functional teams, this individual will engage with Optum
Labs' data scientists, researchers, and engineers to provide
privacy guidance and internal consulting. You'll enjoy the
flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you
take on some tough challenges. - Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish, mandate and implement standard policies, procedures
and best practices across the Optum Labs to promote compliance with
applicable privacy laws and contractual obligations
- Conduct legal research and monitor changes in requirements to
mitigate risks and achieve compliance
- Develop and lead training and education on privacy related
topics
- Assist with privacy incident management and investigations,
investigate identified privacy matters, including corrective action
and mitigation
- Assist with privacy awareness training and specific course
content development as needed, based on issue/incident
experience
- Collaborate with business teams and functional areas like
legal, compliance, technology, and information security on
enterprise-wide objectives The fundamental question you'll be faced

the issues at hand, even as they change. You will also be
responsible for promoting compliance activities and collaborating
with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You'll be

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in health care, privacy, legal,
compliance, or regulatory affairs -
- 3+ years of experience working in a government, legal, health
care, managed care and/or health insurance environment in a
regulatory, privacy or compliance role
- 3+ years of experience with HIPAA and other federal privacy
laws
- Experience communicating complex information via phone
conversations and emails to non-technical clients, external
customers, internal customers and executives
- Experience interacting and collaborating with a variety of
stakeholders across business groups internally and outside the
organization/regulatory agencies
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this
role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster
doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth

well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of
vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to
ensure compliance Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree -
- CIPM or CIPP/US
- Experience supporting health care research -
- Experience with de-identification as defined by the HIPAA
Privacy Rule
- Intermediate or better proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Word and
MS Excel -
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100
to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is
$72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
