Job Description:
firstPRO is actively searching for candidates who have
experience troubleshooting BOTH Mac and Windows devices. This
position delivers front-line support and maintenance for desktop
hardware and software systems and serves as the main support for
the primary computing needs of various groups in our client's
organization. This role will be hybrid with on-site being expected
in University City when needed.Responsibilities: --- The technical
support specialist will provide day-to-day, in-person and remote
support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software and
hardware issues and questions on both System administration,
maintenance, and support of Microsoft Windows (Windows 10,11),
MacOS systems in an Active Directory domain. --- Installs and
configures all new computers (both Mac & PC) that meet standards
including printers, scanners, mobile devices, laptops, and other
computing related devices. --- Maintains and repairs hardware
systems in Windows, Mac OSX. Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs
computing related issued/questions.Qualifications: --- One to three
years of advanced technical support experience required. --- Must
be capable of providing reliable and creative solutions to support
a demanding environment. --- Excellent communication qualities (the
ability to creatively solve problems, timely management of multiple
projects, and excellent organizational skills) as well as strong
customer service skills (the ability to instruct, share knowledge,
and make recommendations through written and oral communication
with nontechnical users) are critical in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment. --- Desire to keep abreast of new
software and hardware technologies. --- Use and knowledge of
Windows 10 operating system, as well as MAC OS --- Setup and
configuration of iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) --- Setup and
troubleshooting of Zoom meetings and webinarsPreferred
Qualifications --- Experience providing technical support in a
higher education setting --- Experience with creating and
troubleshooting Microsoft SharePoint Online sites and subsites ---
Experience with Microsoft Teams --- Experience with ServiceNow,
Bomgar and CrashPlan --- Apple OS Certifications --- Windows
