Cannabis Consultant - Patient Care CoordinatorROLE SUMMARY/OBJECTIVEThe Cannabis Consultant - Patient Care Coordinator--positions primary responsibility is to provide friendly, professional and compassionate customer service to our patients. The key responsibilities are to check-in patients and verify their Pennsylvania issued MMJ card and identification, complete accurate and compliant transactions and fulfillment of patient orders, and by providing extraordinary customer service. The Patient Consultant also supports our medical professional team to address patient questions and supports our compliance efforts.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIESAct as the front-line, first impression for LHL ensuring our mission, vision and values are conveyed to our patientsProvide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service to our patientsGreet and check-in patients by verifying their Pennsylvania issued MMJ card and identificationAccurate and timely entry of patient information into MJ PlatformAnswer phones in a welcoming and pleasant manner while providing resources or information to fulfill patient needsPick and fill patient orders accurately and efficiently based on the patient s consultationUtilize resources and tools to develop and continue ongoing knowledge of medical marijuana, compliance and customer service needsRecommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for patient depending on their individual needs.Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staffComplete and maintain timely, accurate sales transactions with correct cash handlingManaging time and respecting protocol and compliance under fast-paced retail conditionsEnforce compliance efforts by prohibiting purchases of unapproved or restricted products, adhering to our AML policy and notifying management of suspicious or dangerous activityLearn and be able to successfully operate Pennsylvania s web-based seed-to-sale tracking system MJ PlatformMaintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensaryRegular attendanceAble to follow company policies and procedures at all timesOther Duties as assigned by management--COMPETENCIESAble to Operate in a Highly Regulatory CompliancePatient/Customer-focusedIntegrity and trustCommunication skillsTeamwork MindsetAble to Multi-Task in a fast paced environmentSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYNoneWORK ENVIRONMENTThis is a customer facing environment in which you will have daily interactions with patients including answering the phone, greeting patients and one on one interactions.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands and responsibilities described here are representative of those are met by an employee to successfully perform the job. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting and walking for the duration of the shift. This position requires the ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 pounds, more with assistance.The employee is required to talk and hear and communicate with patients. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to manipulate products, equipment and enter data. Other requirements include walking, squatting, kneeling, bending and other repetitive motions.POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time non-exempt position in a medical marijuana dispensary open seven days per week. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather may be required. This position reports to the Dispensary Manager.TRAVELMinimal, maybe requested to travel to other locations in staff shortagesREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED is required2-4 years of retail and/or service experience is requiredCannabis knowledge is a plusCash handling experience is requiredBilingual Spanish is a plusAbility to maintain and pass Pennsylvania Department of Health background checkMust be at least 21 years of age or olderADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSAll candidates must successfully pass the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program 2-hour compliance training within 30 days of hire.CompensationCompensation is commensurate with skills and experience.
