Job InformationLOCATION OPEN TO NATIONWIDEThe Premium Conservation Analyst Sr. reviews system-generated reports to determine policies that require lapse and termination notifications. In addition, the position monitors a high volume email box to handle a variety of requests pertaining to account terminations, reinstatements and conservation holds. This position will ensure that all departmental conservation metrics are met and maintained, in addition to working directly with other teams responsible for executing daily policy transactions. This position works directly with Account Management, Premium Analysts, Underwriters, and other various internal departments to review and change statuses of policies that may enter into the conservation cycle.Policyholder Services* Serves as the day to day contact for policy termination, reinstatement and hold requests received through e-mail box or the ticketing system.* Monitor and manager terminated suspense accounts* Monitor and reduce Due & Unpaid balances* Provides a consistently high level of service to all customers* Processes policyholder termination requests for automated and manual requests* Processes policy reinstatements according to guidelines. Verifies all relevant documentation has been received and saved in the appropriate system* Reviews requests for conservation holds, verifies policy status and updates the billing system* Performs policy status changes* Reviews lapse/termination files and indicate policies where letters should not be sent* Ensures letters are released for mailing within (3 - 5) business days of electronic file receipt* Notifies policyholder of any denial for reinstatement* Prepares manual letters as needed* Works closely with Premium Analyst to process terminated suspense entries* Reviews and responds to service inquiries within (3) business days* Initiates refunds for terminated policies with a suspense balance or premium received after a policy is terminated* Provides support and subject matter expertise to the Regional Service Organization (RSO) for policyholders in any stage of conservationSystem Report* Review various daily, weekly, monthly and annual system reports to determine status of policies, which may require manual lapse/termination letters or refund of premium paid on terminated polices* Assists in the review, research and resolution of policyholder accounts where no premium has been paid* Create monthly listing of policies that require manually generated lettersProjects* Collaborate with Premium Services, RSO Service Team and IS to proactively communicate/document potential issues.* Identify and recommend process improvement specifically focused on increasing efficiencies and creating end user ease of use.* Document and maintain positional processes and procedures.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience* Associate's Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.* A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high volume premium processing and billing operation preferred* Must be capable of developing a strong understanding of the intricacies of both List Bill and Self-Administered bill processing* Must be capable of developing a strong understanding of policy statuses, billing modes and grace periods* Develop the ability to demonstrate a knowledge of RSL product, system and process expertise, to ensure that the most appropriate solution for each assigned client is delivered with excellence and a service orientation* Ability to demonstrate a strong customer focus and a commitment to Service Excellence* Must have a high degree of flexibility and a team orientation* Mathematical aptitude required* Must possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to assist in resolving billing issues and manage customer relationships* Ability to multi-task in a team-focused environment* Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to Travel: Up to 10%Reliance Standard Insurance Company is an equal opportunity employer.
