Description: Spray Products is growing and so is our leadership
team!Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, the Senior
Manager of Supply Chain Operations will be focus on onboarding new
business requirements for specific production of goods. This role
will onboard, implement, communicate, report, audit and execute
various business requirements. They will establish, lead and
execute new business complexities by working cross functionally
with all areas within Spray Products and externally with customers
and suppliers. This person will coordinate with the various groups
to ensure customer satisfaction and business requirements are being
met. This person will establish metrics, reporting and standards
that will be communicated internally and externally. This person
will not manage any direct reports, but will have authority to
govern business requirements as needed. Preferred work location is
in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Candidates who prefer to work out of our
Medina, Ohio facility will also be considered. Travel between Spray
Products locations is required. Key Responsibilities---Develop and
implement raw material supply chain strategies and processes for
specific accounts---Be the subject matter expert for our MRP/ERP
system (Deacom) and ensure the refined use of the software by the
business to meet the specific business requirements ---Manage
customer and supplier relations and supply agreement compliance
while maintaining highest code of ethics and conduct---Oversees
process from intent to purchase, new supplier on-boarding,
performance, and through supplier exits while tracking internal,
supplier and customer performance using metrics for quality,
delivery, service and cost---Develop KPI's for specific business
---Achieve specific objectives by measurement of
KPI's---Responsible for management of customer forecasting to
ensure OTIF compliance while elevating risks and opportunities
---Responsible for forecasting raw material consumption and
continuously analyze market and delivery conditions to ensure
present and future material availability---Analyze and balance
critical factory resources (equipment capacity, materials
availability and man power) with customer demand, using MRP to
determine production requirements---Develop, publish and monitor
production plans balancing inventory, resources and capacity,
taking into account demand from all sources (i.e.: forecasts, sales
orders, supplier managed inventories, stocking programs)---Work
closely with all areas of the business to ensure that the
production plan and business requirements are achievable ---Align
business plans with short-term, long-term and strategic needs of
operations, and ensure production plans are aligned with the
Finance's budget forecasts/commitments and strategies---Develop,
monitor and enforce inventory polices (safety stocks, alternate
inventory) to mitigate supply chain risks for specific business
---Identify, negotiate and resolve conflicts with respect to
capacity, material and customer/factory requirements---Work with
Manufacturing, Engineering, and R&D to develop product
specifications and source substitute and new materials---Provides
clear direction and expectations to the business regarding
responsibilities and performance standards. Continually evaluates
and leads performance with a focus on further development of the
business ---Provides coaching to the business for development
---Responsible for carrying out company policy and
initiativesKnowledge - Skills - Abilities---Strong knowledge of
generally accepted purchasing practices, contract negotiation,
related laws and regulations---Experience should range from
long-term product planning to new product launch planning as well
as production planning and inventory control---Interpersonal skills
to collaborate at various technical levels, with individuals in
other business functions, and with the potential to function in a
supervisory role---Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical,
and problem-solving skills---Passion for results, process,
strategy, and execution. Creative, calculated risk taker---Ability
to raise levels of performance by establishing an improvement
process, or setting specific, measurable targets and goals linked
to business needs---Track record of project leadership including
partnership/teambuilding with interdependent functions in
Operations, R&D, Engineering, Finance and externally

degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations Management
---Planning, purchasing and inventory control experience and
familiarity with manufacturing operations is desired---Must have
minimum of 5 years in supply chain, logistics, inventory or
business analytics and be very familiar with manufacturing and
supply chain fundamentals ---CPIM or CSCP certification a
plusPhysical Requirements---Ability to work in a chemical lab
environment/chemical manufacturing plant.---Occasionally may be
required to reach, squat, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.---Willing to
travel domestically and internationally, even on short notice.
