JM Swank s private trucking fleet (JRRW Transport, LLC) employs over 70 Company Drivers and allows us to support the most challenging delivery requirements as we strive to provide superior customer experience as an essential food ingredients distributor. JM Swank, LLC has a national network of warehouses, distribution centers and suppliers. Our Driver's run most consistently in the Midwest, Southeast and Southwest areas - but we cover the whole US. Drivers must park at a designated location and their commute must be within 2 hours of North Liberty, IA 52317; Carol Stream, IL 60116; Dallas, TX 75201; Albert Lea, MN 56007; or Philadelphia, PA 19140. • Company Driver paid Weekly
• No-Touch Pre-planned Freight with Reliable Return Loads

• All Dry-Box Trailers (90% Dry Freight; 10% Reefer)
• Home Weekly (Majority are Home by Friday Afternoon & Leave out on Sunday)
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

• Average Miles Weekly: 2300 (PC*Miler Short Miles)
• Average Pay: $1,200 - $1,500 a week Combination of cents per mile, drop/pick pay, bonuses, etc. ($65,000 a yea)
• Drop / Pick Pay: $15/ea. including first and last (Average Number Drop / Picks Weekly: 15-20 qty.)
• Detention Pay: $15/hr. (After 1-hour)
• Layover Pay: $210 (For a full 24-hour period)
• Down Time Pay: $75
• Under 300 Miles Pay: Supplemental pay to ensure you reach a $210 daily minimum
• Bonus Pay Maximums: Quarterly $150 Safety, $150 fuel, and $45 E-log. Safe year bonus match is up to $600

• Fairly Consistent Runs:
• Typically, inbound is drop hook at the warehouse and then live unload at the customer and at pickups
• Typically multiple stops loads out of the terminal; returns can be one pick/one drop or multiple pick-ups
• 90% of our Driver s load from the terminal and leave out on Sunday, sometimes early Monday morning depending on run
• Driver's typically return Friday afternoon, sometimes late Thursday depending on their run
• 34 hour reset over the weekend is our aim
• 1 Driver Manager assigned to you and no micro-management
• Safety & Compliance Matter:
• Monthly Driver Meeting as a Team
• Good CSA scores and a positive reputation in the industry
• Superior compliance with industry standard accreditations including the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), the Sanitary Transportation Act (STA) and the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Certification
  
  Job Requirements:
  Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Minimum 1-year local or over-the-road driving experience (2080 hours or 100k miles); must be recent and verifiable dry van or reefer experience
  • Good work tenures at past employers
  • Completion of truck driving school desirable
  • Motor vehicle record must meet pre-employment driving record criteria:
  • No conviction in a private or commercial vehicle of the following violations (or their State equivalent) in the last 60 months: Driving while intoxicated, Refusing, or failing an alcohol or drug test, or Reckless driving
  • No more than 1 motor vehicle accident, in a private or commercial vehicle, in the last 36 months that is determined to be preventable or for which the applicant received a moving traffic citation. Roll over, run off the road or rear end accidents are disqualifying. Other accidents may be disqualifying at manager discretion based on circumstance
  • No more than 1 convictions for a moving traffic violation, committed in a private or commercial motor vehicle, in the last 36 months.
  • No more than two unsafe violations on PSP report.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsement preferred and reimbursed (Must be willing to obtain both; tanker is related to liquid qty. in barrels / totes)
  • Pass Pre-Employment DOT physical; valid medical examiners certificate required
  • Capable of sitting for prolonged periods of time and safely climbing into and out of both a semi-tractor and trailer using three points of contact
