VP, Finance - Route-based Distribution & Services- Acquisition GrowthOur client is a provider of route-based industrial distribution services and is a dominant industry player in their sector in the Mid-Atlantic region. Under new ownership, aggressive new growth initiatives have been launched and a senior financial executive is required to help grow the business to the next level and beyond.You will be working to an ambitious growth strategy, through both organic and acquisitive means, and be deeply involved at a strategic and tactical level working as a valued member of the executive team. You will oversee a "lean and mean", fast-paced team with responsibility for the finance, accounting, and administrative functions.This is a true "roll up your sleeves" environment, with multiple locations where you will wear multiple hats and contribute on a significant level in operational direction. You will also focus on upgrading reporting and visibility into all areas of the business, with an emphasis on advanced analytics and data-driven decision making.The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following experiences: multi-location, route-based industrial distribution services (package delivery services, fuel/lubricant distribution, waste management, etc.) experience, strong analytical and operational mindset, player/coach management style, ideally with experience managing IT and/or other operational functions.
