Extended Warehouse Mgmt (EWM)--Senior/Principal Consultant - ANY US LOCATION *Remote US based position with up to 100% travel. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS The EWM--Principal Consultant will partner with client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same. In addition will implement, customize and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed; as well as:--

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
• Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews
• Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
• Develop detailed plan of process implementation
• Lead industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications
• Develop and Assure quality of process models
• Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS In addition to having successfully completed--minimum of--5 full lifecycle projects--experience in the role of functional EWM consultant, the successful candidate will have:--
  • BS degree in relevant discipline; advanced degree a plus
  • A minimum of--5 years' EWM consulting experience--
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse, distribution and transportation business processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with enterprise mobility solutions and hardware & wireless technologies
  • Exposure to Object-Oriented programming
  • ABAP development and debugging skills a plus
  • Good knowledge of SAP integration aspects
  • SAP TM / Yard Logistics / PP / MM / QM product knowledge is a plus
  • Formal EWM training and/or certification is a plus
  • Experience with Activate Methodology and/or Solution Manager would be a plus
  • Must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company
