Position Description :   Penn Medicine's Information Services area is looking for an Entity Information Officer for Corporate Services    Summary of Accountabilities:   Summary of Accountabilities: Serves as the primary Information Services executive for a specified UPHS entity (i.e. Hospital, Service Line, Clinical Practices.) As a member of the Information Services organization, serves as the liaison between the entity and Corporate Information Services. Works closely with entity and health system senior leadership to ensure both the entity and health system goals / objectives receive the proper Information Services support.    Demonstrates broad and diverse healthcare information systems knowledge and skill in areas such as technology, clinical, financial and administrative applications. Leads and monitors activities within these areas to ensure effective and efficient operations.    May manage and direct entity-based End User Support, Site Managers and/or Clinical Engineering teams. Works with other Information Services leaders and teams as well as outsourcing vendor partners and other third party partners to coordinate the delivery of solutions to the assigned entity. Delivers service in a fashion that supports enterprise standards. Participates in the development of corporate IS planning activities to support consistent utilization of technology and business processes throughout the enterprise. Minimum Requirements :   Minimum Degree Requirements and Experience Required:   Bachelor s Degree Required; Master s Degree Preferred.   Current Internal Penn Medicine Information Services division employees may be considered with proof of active and continued enrollment in an approved bachelor degree program.   Minimum of 3-5 years experience in project management activities (planning, follow-up, business integration)   Minimum of 3-5 years leadership and executive presence experience   Minimum of 3-5 years experience functioning as a liaison between the business and I/T functions in a complex organization   Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a complex healthcare environment   Minimum of 3-5 years experience developing and fostering customer service focused service delivery   Minimum of 3-5 years experience managing workflow and technology integration points   Management experience required   Skill Requirements:   Technical Acumen as it relates to network, desktop, and healthcare applications Additional Information :   Be a part of the exciting and ground-breaking upcoming years for the Penn Medicine Information Services department!    Because growth is essential to continuing to meet the current and future needs of patients, Penn Medicine continues to expand its capabilities.   Penn Medicine's Information Services (IS) Department focuses its efforts on the clinical and financial systems that support the day-to-day operations of four hospitals, several satellite practices, and more than 2,000 physicians.   Learn more about Information Services We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
