Job DescriptionASRC Federal, Mission Solutions (AFMS) is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. Role and Responsibilities System Engineering -- I through IV Under general or minimal direction, dependent upon level, work in a collaborative team providing System Engineering support for the development and sustainment of Mission Critical Real-Time Systems. Participates in system and software requirement review, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness review, and system acceptance review. Performs one or more of the following tasks: Develop or update system level and subsystem level requirements and design artifacts. Develop or update system level test plans and test procedures along with associated regression test plans and procedures. Support informal and formal test events, load file stability testing, and other customer-driven test activities. Regularly record and report progress of plans and procedures development and test execution. Must have knowledge and experience with development and test of the Command and Decision System of the Navy Aegis Weapon System. System performance modeling, MATLAB coding System Integration Hardware/Software Integration and Test Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree (in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related field. Industry Experience 2 to 15 years of related experience. Additional Notes Experience in Real time mission critical development, maintenance, or test in an Open Architecture Environment; Operating Environments; Model-based tools; Information Assurance; Tools Development; Safety Analysis; Real-Time System Data Analysis; Problem Analysis; System Integration. including: Experience testing software written in Java and C++. Experience working in a LINUX or UNIX environment, to include scripting.Knowledge/experience with Command and Control domain Strong skills with MS Office and Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse. Familiar with UML syntax and its use. US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Strong skills with MS Office. Experience with process driven life cycle processes and procedures.
