NAPCO Media (), a subsidiary of PRINTING United Alliance, is a fast-paced B2B media organization serving the printing, retail, travel and hospitality and -nonprofit industries. -We specialize in the creation and cross-channel distribution of exceptional content on print and digital platforms such as newsletters, magazines, podcasts, social media, and events. Our mission is to build community between the audiences and clients we serve.NAPCO Media's Retail & Travel Group's Women Leading Travel & Hospitality, an association for executive-level women in the travel and hospitality industries, is looking for a Senior Content Strategist. - -The -Senior Content Strategist -serves as the strategic and creative lead on all content, including events as well as special projects (e.g., research, peer groups). Acting as the front face of the brand, the SCS is a key strategic role that not only leads content efforts but also represents the brand publicly. The SCS will lead audience and traffic growth across in-person and virtual events as well as digital channels including email, website, and social media. This is a key strategic role that focuses on identifying and seizing opportunities for growth in audience and engagement across multiple platforms. This individual will be responsible for increasing exposure and consumption of content and helping to shape the company's distribution and product strategies. This -role also requires strong project management skills. Travel required. -Responsibilities: - - - - - -Oversee and work with appropriate teams on content strategy and execution for the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality brand. - - - - - -Represent the brand publicly, maintaining and enhancing brand visibility and engagement. - - - - - -Lead speaker acquisition for Women Leading Travel & Hospitality events. - - - - - -Serve as the point person for any member-related content and projects (e.g., talent directory; peer groups; corporate partnership content; etc.). - - - - - -Participate in member engagement and acquisition activities as part of Women Leading Travel & Hospitality membership goals. - - - - - -Oversee production for all Women Leading Travel & Hospitality research reports. - - - - - -Moderate panels at Women Leading Travel & Hospitality events (in-person and virtual), partnership events, and industry events. - - - - - - -Own/manage mobile platforms for all Women Leading Travel & Hospitality events. - - - - - -Assist in content production for other Retail & Travel Group brands (Women in Retail Leadership Circle, Total Retail).Experience, Skills and Attributes for Success: - - - - - -3 years to 5 years of writing/editing experience - - - - - - -Excellent writing, interviewing and editing skills - - - - - - -Excellent interviewing skills - - - - - - -Experience using WordPress as a CMS - - - - - - -Energetic, self-motivated, highly professional - - - - - - -Comfortable speaking to large groups for both in-person and virtual events - - - - - - -Ability to network and develop industry contacts - - - - - - -Enthusiastic attitude toward creating new content, growing audience, and working with a team of editors - - - - - - -Ability to generate and develop topic ideas for a variety of media formats - - - - - - -Ability to understand and utilize analytics for content development - - - - - - -Familiarity with AP style - - - - - - -Experience with MS Office and Outlook - - - - - -Understanding of SEO and social media platforms - - - - - - -Understanding of the travel and hospitality industries is a plus -Education: - - - - - -Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Writing or related field -Email resume and cover letter stating salary requirements to hr@.NAPCO Media recognizes our employees are our greatest asset and our benefits package is designed to support and care for our employees.
