Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Job DescriptionThe Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience.The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers.About the Team:The CONNECT System Integration team is a part of a key function of delivering standardized solutions to the various components within the CONNECT Network portfolio from the access technologies provided by our vCMTS solution through our Core network integrations. - It is a constantly evolving function evaluating both the current needs and opportunities of our systems as well as forward looking into the future capabilities we can develop to provide premier services to our customers.Team Values:

    • Develop system design documentation both physical and logical for the interactions of our systems.
    • Deploy and configure network equipment in our test environments to validate solutions.
    • Develop test strategies that leverage automated solutions for system evaluation.
    • Troubleshoot systems both lab and production and provide both short term and long term solutions for issues found.
    • Participate in design and architecture sessions.
    • Build effective deployment and monitoring systems.
    • Support production environments.
    • Participate in software release and deployment activities managed under an agile software development approach.
    • Collaborate constructively with team members.Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
      • Experience in Switching and Routing with hands on experience with various network vendor solutions (Juniper, Arista, Cisco, etc).
      • Knowledge of networking protocols: HTTP/S, TCP, UDP, multicast, BGP, ISIS.
      • Experience with network troubleshooting, both physical and logical.
      • Good current knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.Additional "Nice to Have" Skills & Experience:
        • Good communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly.
        • Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting at scale.
        • Adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
        • Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment.
        • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment. Requirements change quickly and our team needs to constantly adapt to moving targets.
        • Experience with scripting tools such as Python is a plus.
