The Value Chain Innovation team at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a group of dedicated, creative, and driven individuals determined to build the future of BBU's supply chain. We'll grant you the artistic license to draft new models for supplying our customers and consumers with the world's best baked goods and snacks. You will be responsible for ideating, testing, implementing, and refining industry disruptive practices that will dramatically improve service, reduce cost, and create new levels of job satisfaction for our associates. This position will work across functions, engage with leaders at all levels of the organization, and offer unparalleled opportunities for personal and professional growth. Value Chain SpecialistThe Value Chain Specialist will play an essential role in transforming the way that BBU's supply chain operates. You will be a part of a team that will create the new supply chain operating model resulting in tremendous improvements in service, safety, and cost performance. This position demands a balance between technical and leadership skills. You will act as a liaison between the Value Chain Innovation team and the rest of BBU's operational teams, to translate the needs of the business and its future necessities into business and technological requirements. Also, you will lead the implementation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes as a result of these efforts. You will also be a business strategist and a champion for change within and without the Value Chain Innovation team. You must have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and projects and manage work time efficiently for you.#LI-TN1 Position Requirements:Duties & Responsibilities:Identifies new technology needs and collaborates with corporate Information Technology department and outside providersWill act as a key voice in identifying business needs and articulating why those needs are criticalCreates detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutionsDefines business requirements and reports them back to stakeholdersDefine configuration specifications and business analysis requirementsPerforms quality assurance on technology solutionsHelps design, document and maintain system processes Requirements & Qualifications:Effective communicator with the ability to articulate a vision and a compelling reason for changeAnalytical mind with business acumen and high attention to detailComfortable with driving change and interacting with all levels of leadershipInspirational leader that promotes trust and collaboration in all encountersConstantly on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customerHas the capacity to innovate and respond to changing conditions along with the ability to balance structure & flexibility by planning for the known elements and preparing for changeWork well in a team environment, understanding that the obligation to the greater good is paramountUnderstands key supply chain software with broad knowledge of key operating systems (ERP, Forecast/Plan, WMS, TMS)Deals well in ambiguous situations or in environments when not all facts are availableWorks to simplify and optimize processes to ensure quality executionWillingness to travel (up to 40%) & work flexible schedules, hours, etc.Education and Work History:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management requiredWorking knowledge of relational databases and ERP systems (Oracle preferred), proficient on MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Experience: 5 years in analyst, marketing generalist, logistics coordinator, or similar roleThe physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
