Benefits packages worth an estimated average of $300.00/month. --- The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Specialist will support and maintain the organization's HRIS applications and modules. --- The HRIS Specialist supports day-to-day maintenance and enhancement activities of OPS Security Group's Human Resources Information System's (HRIS). This role collaborates with HR team member's, senior leadership, payroll and finance and other internal stakeholders. This position also requires out of hours support when major issues surface. --- This position reports to the Human Resources Specialist, Director. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: System Management: Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules. Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar operations and settings for users. Document and test system upgrades, enhancements, or integration with systems to ensure adequate information security, data integrity, and continued functionality. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users. Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. Data Management: Manage HR data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Compiles or assists with delivery of complex data reports, dashboards and/or summaries to support business decisions. User Training and Support: Provide training to the HR team, leaders, and employees on HRIS functionality. Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance as needed. Compliance: Ensure HRIS compliance with relevant laws and regulations and complete Federal and State mandate reporting requirements within the required deadlines. Stay abreast of changes in HR technology and make recommendations for updates. Performs other duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with UKG is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals. Ability to keep information confidential. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of UKG's systems. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field required. At least three years of related experience required. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desirable. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
