Description:Position Summary:The Business Analysis Co-op will support the Business Analysis and Application teams for business process mapping and capability mapping.
They will provide support, documentation, research that will enable the development of the as-is and to-be business processes within BBU.
They will also map systems capabilities to business process flows utilizing standard BPMN methodologies and tools. They may serve as a liaison between Business Technology and various business functions to define business capabilities required and determining system requirements needed to support these.Key Job Responsibilities:Become familiar with global best practices as it relates to systems implementation in the CPG foods industryDocument systems enabled business processes including roles and responsibilities using standard Business Process Model Notation (BPMN 2.0)Support the business analysis and implementation teams with analysis or verification where requiredSupport discovery meetings with Subject Matter Experts to document business processes and functional requirementsAnalyze functional requirements and assist in evaluating suitability of packaged applicationsUtilize best-in-class tools for modeling and architectureSupport the review of the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging themContribute ideas for improvement within the scope of the projectDevelop presentations that clearly explain complex concepts to non-technology professionals#LI-JS1 Position Requirements:Key Behavioral Competencies: Have a process and systems focused view to solving complex problemsIndividual must be able to work independently after an agreed upon scope of work is definedHave a basic understanding of systems enabled business processesExcellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both functional and technical personnelExcellent critical thinking and analysis skill setExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skillsResults-Oriented with strong interpersonal skills.Education:Currently seeking a bachelor's degree in the computer science, business administration, information technology, MIS or related fieldThe physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
