Samuels and Son Seafood, the nation's leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood has a unique and exciting opportunity for a brand ambassador. This positon is designed for a passionate individual who loves building and maintaining relationships with people based on great follow up, integrity and strong oral communication. Brand ambassadors must have a positive attitude and willingness to learned and be coached. They also must be able to identify problems in a timely manner, plan work activities and have the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. This position offers: the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused culture, an opportunity for continuous advancement within the organization and a competitive compensation and benefits packageSummary of essential job functions:Functions include, but not limited to the following:Visiting existing and prospective customers on the road, involves scheduling appointments to meet chefs or buyers at their restaurants and presenting new, exclusive or private label products.--Educating and sampling products to chefs or consumers.Ability to travel Sales Territory including but not limited to the Philadelphia, NY, DC, Pittsburgh, Miami and Las Vegas.Developing new relationships, following up with first orders.Fostering--existing relationships by following up--on customer service,--product quality, providing samples and product education.Working with Sales, Marketing, and Vendors to coordinate schedule and establish goals.Timely and accurate reporting of visits to customers along with feedback--on customer service--and product quality.Flexible--work schedule, with possibility of working nights and weekends.Minimum Requirements:Possess Valid Driver's LicenseComputer skills to include Microsoft Office1-2 years' experience in a Customer Service position preferredBachelor's degree preferred.----Equivalent education--and experience considered.-- Knowledge of Seafood Industry preferred but not required.Ability to Lift, Push, Pull 30 lbs.Ability to Stand/Walk 4 or more hours continuouslyExcellent communication skills, high attention to detail.A passion for food--
