Students gain a love of learning while developing social skills, making friends and having fun. - is seeking a Special Education Teacher as we are opening an additional classroom. In a new facility opened in 2021 in Moorestown, NJ, the school features assistive technology and augemntative communication as well as speech and language specialists, integrated clinical treatment by experienced and credentialed clinicians includiing Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational, Physical and Speech Thearpy. As educators, we introduce a robust curriculum for young students in the areas of life skills, water safety, health and physical education and creative arts. - Our school is designed expressly for children with contact needs. - -















Responsibilities











The Special Education Teachers at Bancroft's Preschool & Early Education Program plan and implement classroom instruction, specializing within one or more areas of curriculum, to specifically meet the educational needs of students and to encourage the best possible student educational experience.















Qualifications











Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and eligibility for formal certification such as N.J. Teacher of Disabilities (or of the Handicapped) required. -
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience in special education preferred
  • Eligibility for Highly-Qualified Teacher status required.
  • Knowledge of teaching methods and educational programs designed for students with learning, physical and behavior disabilities.
