Job Description:

Title: Compliance and Licensing Specialist
Position Overview:
Responsible to ensure all programs and licensed, credentialed and
accredited properly. Responsible for completing all licensing
compliance audits.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all departments to help develop and maintain
policies and operational forms and processes with established
oversight systems to ensure full compliance with all state and
local regulations and credentialing body requirements for all
programs.
- Conduct and oversee all internal and external licensing and
compliance audits for all programs in all states to ensure
sustained operations with full licensure or accreditation.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure employee development
and training is established to meet all contract and regulatory
requirements.
- Ensure all licensed staff are properly credentialed with
external payers through utilization of CAQH or other state systems
as required.
- Maintain documentation and communication with all licensing,
credentialing and accreditation bodies to assure compliance with
all required standards.
- Respond to and support the collection and distribution of all
medical record requests and legal documentation requests are
responded to as needed.
- Investigate and respond to all internal and external complaints
received by all parties excluding HR employee only related
issues.
- Support in all future licensing, credentialing and
accreditation efforts to promote product development and
growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 3 or more years of quality
assurance or licensing/ credentialing experience in a healthcare
environment.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record platforms and ability
to work within Microsoft Office products.
- Experienced in basic project management and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and both oral and written
communication skills.
- Must be able to work well independently and exercise
independent judgment.
- Must have the ability to understand and apply policies and
procedures and regulatory standards associated with healthcare
credentialing.
- Opportunities to travel to programs if available but not a
requirement.
