Treeswift is building robots to operate in one of the world's most complex environments - forests. We are looking for a Data Annotation Specialist to support data operations on our analytics pipeline. High quality labeled data is the fuel for training machine/deep learning algorithms, which drives production of actionable forest metrics Treeswift provides to landowners. As a member of the Data Operations Team, you will contribute to supporting forest analytics processing. In this role, you will work with a customized user interface to digitally label LiDAR data and images of forests. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate should be excited to learn about forestry, machine learning, and computer vision. Experience with data annotation and data science is a plus, but not required - we'll teach you everything you need to know. You will: Label and produce large data sets to train our forest machine learning models. Provide other team members with your insights gained from the labeling process. Be committed to producing high quality labels. Be extremely detail oriented and precise. Be reliable and own assigned tasks.
