FULL-TIME FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST - MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA

Family Resource Specialist



JusticeWorks is looking for a Full Time Family Support Specialist immediately in Montgomery County, PA. The qualified Family Support Specialist will be an independent, self-reliant person who appreciates being supported by a strong team.



To provide excellent service, our families are our priority so working with their schedules is key to creating a healthy rapport with them. Evenings and/or weekends may be required to fulfill a 40-hour work week.

The qualified Family Support Specialist will have:


Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and experience working with children, youth, and/or families in a variety of settings or environments.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
Pass current, applicable clearances.
Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

The qualified Family Support Specialist will:


Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
Assist families in accessing and navigating community resources.
Maintain open communication with referring authorities.
Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
Submit accurate, required notes within 24 hours of service and complete reports within assigned timeframes.
Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
