Additional activities may include projects or shadow experience with other areas of HR, including Learning and Education, HR Communications, Quality of Work Life, Benefits, Compensation, and Human Resources Information Management.This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills they may have acquired in school related to areas of interest and apply them in a professional setting. The intern will gain a better understanding of the role that Human Resources can play in a non-profit setting and be better prepared to work in the arena of human resources and the non-profit sector. Additionally, they will also have opportunities to network with the entire Penn HR Staff.The Human Resources Intern will learn the practical application of these functions:Talent Acquisition (Home Function): The primary responsibilities will include:Work with professionals in the Talent Acquisition Office conducting research to identify professionals across multiple industry and functional areas.
