Our client, a leading and well-established company built on a solid reputation of quality workmanship and customer service is seeking a Concrete Estimator to their growing company. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of self-perform structural concrete estimating experience for commercial, healthcare, residential, and industrial projects. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews plans and specifications for jobs
• Does detailed takeoffs on materials, labor, and equipment
• Solicits vendor quotes for materials
• Sends RFI's to the owner or general contractor during the bid process for clarifications
• Identifies potential issues and take proactive steps to circumvent obstacles
• Identify and prioritize value engineering opportunitiesQUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 8 years estimating successful large commercial, healthcare, residential, and industrial self-perform concrete projects
  • Must possess the knowledge and field experience associated with cast in place concrete construction, concrete footings, and foundations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for dealing with contractors, suppliers, purchasing, sales and others.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents.
  • Knowledge of related structural products including joist, deck, stairs, rails, anchor rods, etc.
  • Ability to assemble scope of work with required information in including inclusions, exclusions and qualifications.
  • Knowledge of terminology customarily used in construction and knowledge of use of computer and estimating software packages.Get in with a company that has a great reputation in the industry and among its employee base!
