DescriptionPart-time positions available!! Perform various nursing care activities and related life enrichment program activities to facilitate optimal outcomes for the resident. Coordinate and implement resident activities within the community. The Life Enrichment Team Specialist functions in a cooperative team effort with all the modalities for the emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing of the resident, in accordance with accepted practice standards and the policies, procedures and philosophies of the Memory Support Program. Minimum Education: Must be certified by NJDOHS- Certified Medication. Must maintain certification as required by the state of New Jersey regulations.Preferred Education: 6 months of Long Term Care experience preferred.Minimum Applicable Experience: 6 months of in-house Memory Support experience.Preferred Applicable Experience: 1 year or more of Memory Support experience.Minimum Professional Membership, Licensure, Certifications: Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in good standing. Must possess certification from NJDOHSS approved Medication Administration Course.Preferred Professional Membership, Licensure, Certifications:General Working Conditions: Typical Office environmentPhysical Demands: Physical Requirements Form: Medium Work RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and external customers. Must be able to work as a team player and collaborate with community and senior leadership in a matrix organizational structure. Must possess good judgement and excellent problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Must demonstrate excellent analytical abilities and be able to respond to inquiries and concerns from associates, residents and other customers or members of the community.
