The out of school time hours between 3:00pm and 6:00pm are the highest risk times for youth. YouthCOR, CORA's Out of School Time programs, is dedicated to impacting the lives of children, youth and families during these critical hours. YouthCOR does this through partnering with the schools and communities to provide access to dynamic programing and new experiences for young people in many neighborhoods around Philadelphia.

CORA's YouthCOR Programs are currently seeking After School Program Group Leaders to directly impact the lives of students in its YouthCOR After School program at St. Martin de Porres School.

After School Group Leader Hours:

Monday Friday: 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Additional hours may be available on half days, field trips, meetings, other activities.

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $18.50/hr; $400 sign on bonus ($200 paid after hire, and $200 paid after 4 months of service).

Working as a After School Program Group Leader with CORA, you will:

Become a positive role model in the lives of youth by building relationships and a positive classroom community in your group.
Grow young scholars through homework help and implementing engaging and dynamic literacy, social emotional learning and STEM activities.
Create fun and academically rich lesson plans to enrich the students in your class.
Prioritize student safety through proper supervision and adhering to YouthCOR policies and procedures.

Qualified After School Program Group Leaders Should Possess:

Desire to work in a team-based environment
Passion about making a difference in the life of a child
A good sense of humor and desire to have fun at work
Flexibility
Strong communication skills
Capability to relate to youth in grades Kindergarten 8th
Must be 18 years of age
Must have completed high school or earned a GED
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children

Please note: All new hires are expected to be fully vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to starting work with CORA Services.
