Job Description:
The Evidence-based Practice (EBP) Implementation Specialist
provides operational and program development support to advance
evidence based practice implementation within EBP Initiatives and
across the network.Essential Functions:
- Serve as operational lead for children's services EBP
implementation, including Intensive Behavioral Health Services
- Serve as a resource to providers, internal staff and external
stakeholders regarding EBP initiatives and implementation
strategies
- Serve as liaison between EPIC and other departments within
DBHIDS and CBH, such as Provider Network Management, Provider
Training and Development, , Clinical Management, NIAC, and Member
Services regarding EBP initiatives and implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as EBP developers, academic
partners, provider agencies, community organizations and
cross-system partners to support EBP initiatives and
implementation
- Contribute to identifying strategic priorities for supporting
successful EBP implementation
- Develop resources on EBP implementation that support providers
and internal staff
- Support EBP implementation strategies and protocols that align
with EPIC strategic plan and broader EBP strategy throughout
system
- Serve as point of contact and coordinator for EBP training
contract invoicing
- Support the development and maintenance of tracking system for
EBP initiatives, including provider submitted data reports and
review of claims data reports
- Provide support completing summaries and reports in response to
requests and conduct research as needed
- Participate in internal and external meetings as requested by
EBP Implementation Manager or EPIC Director
- Provide scheduling, material preparation, meeting minutes and
logistical support for EBP initiative trainings and meetings for
internal and external audiencesPosition Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- License/Certification: N/A
- Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical
experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably delivering
evidence - based practices and involvement with provider and system
capacity development. Must have experience working with children
and families. Prefer experience working in or with school
systems.
